The Stormwater Division is responsible for the maintenance and operation of public drainage infrastructure which includes detention ponds, storm inlets, culverts and channels. This includes routine maintenance such as mowing, trash / debris pick-up and restoration and rehabilitation of failing drainage facilities.
Approximately 25 percent of the Town’s drainage infrastructure is inspected by Stormwater staff every year. These inspections are necessary to ensure proper operation and to identify any deficiencies.
