Organization 
Overview
The Parker Police Department is a full-service, suburban Police Department organized into three major areas: Operations, Administration and Office of Professional Standards. Operations and Administration areas are led by a Captain who is responsible for all personnel, equipment and services assigned to their command. These areas are subdivided into divisions or sections led by a police lieutenant or civilian supervisor. The divisions are further divided into teams led by police sergeants or civilian supervisors whose personnel are responsible for the services which the department provides. Office of Professional Standards is led by a lieutenant.

Administration

The Administrative Division oversees four areas within the Police Department: Victim Services Section, Records Section and Research and Development Section.

Office of Professional Standards
The Office of Professional Standards oversees the functions of Accreditation, Communications Division, Crime Prevention, Emergency Management, Internal Affairs and Training. This office is vital to the basic operations of the Police Department.
