Grab your lawn chairs, grills, fire pits, picnic necessities, or simply pick up your favorite local takeout and set up camp on your porch, front yard, driveway, patio or balcony for some community-building, yet socially-distant minded, festivities.
Please remember to adhere to state, local and health guidelines while having your party! We can have fun together but still socially distance by having parties on our own property and talking to neighbors across the street! Per Colorado State and Tri-County Health Department public health orders, closing off the street to congregate for block parties is still not permitted.
The Town of Parker will join you at these parties and will even have a decked out party background courtesy of our Porch Party Decorating Sponsors: Parker Party America!. At 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 tune in here for a 30 minute show filled with fun music and entertainment for adults and children alike and the Mayor’s Porch Party Challenge! This winner of this week’s challenge will win a table top grill courtesy of Xfinity and the Outdoor Channel!
The Parker Porch Party Series is a great time to enjoy nice weather, chat with your neighbors and win some fantastic prizes. Participating is as easy as 1-2-3!
1) Host a porch party with your household on Saturday, May 23 (anytime: could be lunch, happy hour or dinner)
2) Party the way you want...make it simple and bring your favorite takeout or beverage outside or go all out and add decorations, music and entertainment.
3) Win prizes by participating in various contests throughout the series. You don’t want to miss out! There are some amazing prizes courtesy of Xfinity and the Outdoor Channel! There are three ways to win - you could even be a winner of all three!!
**Should social distancing requirements prohibit a block party on Aug. 22, each household on the winning street will receive Jet’s pizza and Kona Ice delivered to each household for the final porch party.
