Love 'em or Leave 'em Valentine's Day 5K/10K on Feb. 8:
Will you embrace the holiday full of heart or run from Cupid? Either way, the Love 'em or Leave 'em Valentine's Day 5K/10K is the signature run/walk of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series, and a fun and festive workout!
The professionally timed event will be held at Bar CCC Park on Saturday, Feb. 8. The overall male/female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in different age divisions, will be awarded. All registered participants are also invited to enjoy a delicious post-race pancake breakfast.

Let’s Talk Parker marks anniversary:
Launched in February 2018, the Town’s community engagement platform, Let’s Talk Parker, is ready for another memorable year. Here are some highlights from 2019:
• 20,540 site visits
• 733 new participant registrations
• The most active project pages were the My Mainstreet Implementation, Parker Road Corridor Plan, and the Parker Police Department Traffic Enforcement Map
• 121 project ideas shared by participants

State of the Town event Feb. 26:
The Rotary Club of Parker will host the 2020 Parker State of the Town Business Lunch on Feb. 26 at the PACE Center, 20000 Pikes Peak Avenue.
Attendees will have the opportunity to make contacts with local businesspeople, support the community and visit with Mayor Mike Waid, Town Councilmembers and Town officials. In addition, the Rotary Club of Parker will present the Parker Impact Award, which recognizes a person or persons who have made valuable contributions to the Parker community.

Educational video series introduced:
The Town debuted a new educational series covering popular Parker topics in January with a video about the zoning and development process. Stay tuned to the Town’s social media accounts for additional videos about annexation, the impact of diverse housing, open space and traffic signals in the coming months.
Additional videos can be accessed on the Town’s YouTube channel.
Monthly public meetings:
Parker Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3 and Tuesday, Feb. 18 in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 20120 E. Mainstreet. The Council will hold study sessions at 5:30 p.m. on Mondays, Feb. 10 and 24 in the Pikes Peak Community Room at Town Hall.
The Parker Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13 in the Council Chambers at Town Hall.
The Parker Special Licensing Authority will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20 in the Council Chambers at Town Hall.
