Parker Arts Unveils 2022/2023 Season: 

Tickets for Parker Arts’ next season of performances go on sale Aug. 1. 

Highlights include multi-platinum recording artist Sara Evans, rock and pop legends Berlin, Night Ranger and A Flock of Seagulls, legendary singer-songwriters Karla Bonoff and Lee Greenwood, and John Tesh and his Big Band Live. 

The season also features musical tributes, The Rocket Man Show and Yesterday and Today: An Interactive Beatles Experience, musical theater performances of The Addams Family, The Sound of Music, Jimmy Buffet’s Escape to Margaritaville, and many more entertaining acts.

National Night Out Event Aug. 6:

Join the Parker Police Department from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 at O'Brien Park for the annual National Night Out event. 

The evening will include appearances from Parker’s Mounted Patrol and other units, vehicle and equipment displays, vendor booths and food trucks, child fingerprint identification kits, a car show and giveaways.

Fall Program Registration Open:

We know it’s still summer, however fall (and even winter) camps, classes and programs are just around the corner with registration underway.

Parker Youth Commission Seeking Applicants: 

Parker-area students in grades 9 to 12 are invited to get involved and give back to the community by serving on the new Parker Youth Commission. Member of this group will:

• Be part of Parker’s newest advisory board

• Speak to Town Council on issues important to Parker teens

• Organize and take part in activities, service projects, events and functions

• Develop recognition programs

This Commission consists of nine members, initially appointed with staggered terms so that five are appointed for two-year terms and four are appointed for one-year terms (2022/2023). Thereafter, Commissioners will be appointed to two-year terms.

Monthly Public Meetings:

Parker Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Mondays, Aug. 1 and 15. The Council will hold study sessions at 5 p.m. Mondays Aug. 8 and 22. 

Parker Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25. 

Parker Special Licensing Authority will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18.
