The Town has developed its first transportation master plan - the Parker Transportation Master Plan (TMP). The TMP will serve as the Town’s long-range plan for travel and mobility. Parker’s transportation system is essential in continuing to shape the quality of life and the economic health of our community. As a policy and planning document, the Plan will provide Town Council and staff with guidance regarding future transportation planning decisions, development and capital projects in Parker.
The Town has received input from our residents through surveys, workshops and open houses over the last year. This community input was used to draft the Plan that is now ready to be considered by the Planning Commission and Town Council. Public hearing dates have been scheduled for Planning Commission consideration on Thursday, June 12 at 7 p.m., or as soon as possible thereafter, and for Town Council consideration on Monday, June 16 at 7 p.m., or as soon as possible thereafter.
The plan will support Town Council in achieving its goals and objectives for Parker to be a destination community where people come to live, work, shop and play by ensuring that we have a comprehensive and integrated transportation system that continues to serve the multi-modal needs of our citizens and visitors.
