Join the Town of Parker in celebrating the inaugural Colorado Cities & Towns Week, Oct. 20 through 26!
Sponsored by the Colorado Municipal League, Colorado Cities & Towns Week is a new initiative launched this year to help highlight the work done by local municipalities on a day-in and day-out basis. Numerous studies have shown that municipalities generally receive a higher approval rating than any other level of government. Cities and towns provide an increased level of service than most governments, yet many residents remain unaware of how these services impact their lives. Part of the Colorado Cities & Towns Week effort is aimed at raising public awareness about these key services while also educating residents on just how municipal government actually works.
The Town of Parker is excited to participate in this effort because we are proud of the level of service we provide and want you to learn more about what we do for you! Be sure to follow our Facebook and Twitterfeeds closely next week to learn a variety of interesting tidbits about how our hardworking employees care for our community. Also, if you happen to run across a Town employee sometime during the week, feel free to ask them more about what they do to make Parker a great place to live.
Like the individuals we engage every day, our employees also take pride in calling Parker home. We will keep striving towards providing great service to our residents, and we hope that the next time you are out and about in Town, you think about the hardworking men and women who care for your community!
