The Town of Parker, Colorado Driving Society and Xfinity invite you to experience the Christmas Carriage Parade, a downtown Parker tradition, on Saturday, Dec. 8 at noon. Parade entries determine their own themes and bring their own vision of what the holidays mean to them to life.
The parade starts at noon, but the pre-festivities begin at 10:30 a.m. with holiday ice sculpting, a petting zoo and pony rides, games and fun with Santa’s Elves in O’Brien Park, as well as a Winter Market.
Santa will be in Town for this great event and will be available for pictures inside Douglas County Libraries in Parker from 1 to 3 p.m. Make sure to take a peek around the library while you are there and plan to experience story time or holiday crafts sponsored by Douglas County Libraries. Thank you to Kuni Honda on Arapahoe for bringing Santa to Town for this great occasion!
Mainstreet and Victorian Drive will be closed on the day of the parade until 2 p.m. Individuals within these limits will not be able to exit until the roads are reopened. Parking outside of these limits is advised.
