Town of Parker Coronavirus Updates

Posted on: March 23, 2020

[ARCHIVED] Parker Parks and Recreation CLOSED Through May 31

Updated May 4

In accordance with public health orders and social distancing recommendations, Parker Parks and Recreation will remain closed through May 31, in an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). This includes facilities (Parker Recreation Center, Parker Fieldhouse and H2O’Brien Pool) and programs.

During this time, we are diligently working on a plan to ensure that our re-opening is done in a way that keeps the community and staff as safe as possible. We are looking to achieve this by implementing reduced facility capacities, limiting gatherings, enforcing social distancing guidelines, enhancing cleaning and sanitization efforts, using PPE and more. Where possible, we will seek to reschedule programs. Memberships will remain on hold.
