[ARCHIVED] My Mainstreet Open House - Aug. 22

Invite for the My Mainstreet Open House scheduled for Aug. 22, 2023 at 5 p.m. at the Parker Library.

An open house for two planned My Mainstreet property developments will be held Tuesday, Aug. 22 from 5 to 6 p.m. in Event Hall B of the Douglas County Libraries Parker branch.

Hosted by property owner Confluence Companies, this open house will introduce site development plans for the East Main lot, 20117 Mainstreet next to Discovery Park, and the Town Parking Garage, to be constructed east of the PACE Center.

The proposed East Main development includes 284 for-rent multi-family units and 17,500 square feet of ground floor retail space along Mainstreet. The proposed garage is a 297-space parking structure planned to be located on the current surface parking lot east of the PACE Center.

These projects represent the first development phase for the My Mainstreet Project properties in Downtown Parker.

My Mainstreet Project Background

Mainstreet is the gem of Parker, home to restaurants, artisan coffee shops, culture, public parks and more. In 2018, P3 - Partnering for Parker's Progress took the lead on engaging the community to provide feedback about how to best develop a collection of downtown properties: Schoolhouse Lot, PACE Center 2A/2B Lots, East Main Lot and Pine Curve Lot and 19801 E. Mainstreet.

On Nov. 7, 2022, the Parker Town Council and P3 Board of Directors approved a development agreement with Confluence Companies to develop six publicly owned land parcels associated with the My Mainstreet Project.

This $275-million public-private investment is the largest economic development project in downtown Parker’s history and implements the Town’s decades-long plan to activate and grow its downtown while increasing economic vitality and local revenues.

The Town of Parker and P3 have been working closely with Confluence Companies on creating a development plan that aligns with the Town’s vision for a more vibrant, walkable downtown area. The approved development agreement defines a future for each of the My Mainstreet parcels that includes a unique design aimed at promoting the vitality of Mainstreet while making the area a destination for residents, workers, and visitors.
