In September, the new eastbound lanes of Hess Road from the Town limit to the Cherry Creek bridge were opened. The overall construction project is scheduled to be completed in November. The westbound lanes will remain in their current configuration as the contractor continues construction on the remaining portion of the project. The widening of Hess Road over Cherry Creek is planned as a future improvement pending funding.
